Why is Technology
so Important for Laser Vision Correction ?

The Excimer Laser is one of the greatest
inventions in ophthalmology. The Excimer Laser is the device
that physically corrects your prescription during surgery.
Because laser vision correction is based on the microscopic
removal of corneal tissue at the molecular level it is impossible
to achieve this type of accuracy manually. No other device
has provided patients the opportunity to reduce or eliminate
their dependency on glasses and contacts. Although many
people perceive laser technology to be the same, there are
vast differences between one laser versus another. One question
that should be raised prior to your surgery is whether the
laser being used is the newest in laser vision correction
technology. By having your eyes treated with the newest
in laser vision technology it increases your chances for
a successful outcome.

What are the key components in
determining what laser should be used for your laser vision correction
procedure.
Eyetracker |
Must be able to sample at a rate of at least
250 Hz with the ability to react between 4 to 8 milliseconds |
Beam Size |
Less than 1mm and flying spot |
Speed |
200 Hz |
Optical Zones |
Ability to provide a wide treatment range of optical zones
from 6mm to 8mm pupils |
Gaussian Beam Profile |
Produces the smoothest corneal surface of all laser beam
profiles |

For the purpose of processing the treatment,
Crystal Laser Center
serve you with ALLGRETTO
Excimer Laser, the optimal performance
of LASIK treatment.
The innovative technology of the ALLEGRETTO Excimer Laser

High Benefits of ALLEGRETTO
Excimer Laser
Large
true Optical Zone
By ablating large true optical zone up to 8 mm with small
transition zone, ALLEGRETTO Excimer Laser reduces the risk
of night vision problem. The result is to minimize incidence
of night vision impairment, contrast sensitivity, halos and
glare
Fast
and reliable Eye tracker
ALLEGRETTO’s unique eye tracking technology allows precise
active tracking of laser beam. These ultraswift eye trackers
(250 HZ – time/second) ensure excellent centration and accurate
placement of each shot even in case of rapid, fastest saccadic
eye movement.
Small
spot size 0.95 mm
With the use of scanning spot lasers, an extremely even distribution
of energy is produced during ablation. A pulse rate of 200
HZ makes for quicker procedure times. The extremely small
spot diameter (0.95mm) enables patient specific ablation profiles
for customized LASIK treatment to prevent thermal effect,
only every fifth pulse overlaps the first. The ALLEGRETTO
Wave keeps treatment time to a minimum and prevents stroma
bed dehydration
Gaussian
beam profile
The Gaussian beam profile provides smooth ablation. You can
see better results with faster visual recovery and shot healing
process. |
